Fidelity offers to pay full undergraduate tuition for its customer service representatives
Fidelity Investments Inc. has launched a new program that will pay full tuition for two- and four-year undergraduate degrees for the company’s entry-level US telephone representatives.

The curriculum, launched in late October, focuses on a range of academic majors that align with Fidelity’s business and the financial industry, according to a Fidelity press release.
About 18,000 employees at the Boston-based investment firm are eligible for the free tuition program, Ms. Bourque said.
Fidelity has increased its customer service workforce by 127% over the past three years and continues to recruit more employees to work across the company, she said.
For this reason, Bourque said the tuition-free program was designed to attract new talent to Fidelity’s customer service team.
Existing Fidelity employees responded with great enthusiasm when the tuition program was announced internally, she said, noting that “hundreds of positive comments appeared on Fidelity’s internal websites.” .
Fidelity had assets under administration totaling $10.3 trillion as of August 31, including $3.8 trillion in assets under discretionary management, according to Fidelity’s statement.
The company has approximately 28,000 employees serving customers.
