The van tips over onto I-44, blocking all westbound traffic at Fidelity
Tpr Walker of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D tells us at the scene that the driver was wearing his seatbelt.
JASPER COUNTY, Mo. – Just before 9 a.m. Saturday morning there were reports of a crash along I-44 just west of Fidelity in the westbound lanes. Jasper County E911 noted all traffic was at a standstill, with the crash blocking both lanes.
Carthage Fire Dept and Mercy Ambulance responded. Jasper County deputies assisted with traffic control and the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified.
At the scene, an overturned 2008 Ford F150 blocked westbound traffic at the 18-mile marker.

Tvr B. Walker of D Troop told us at the scene that it was a westbound single vehicle accident. The sole occupant, Richard Wilson, 25, of Hartville, Mo., suffered moderate injuries and was transported in stable condition to Mercy Joplin.
Wilson was wearing a seat belt.
Tvr Walker tells us the pickup drove into the median, then over-corrected moving right into the guardrail and rolled over, coming to rest in the middle of the westbound lanes.
Traffic was halted for nearly an hour when the crash was cleared. Reports were 3 miles west.
M&M Wrecker responded to clear the crash and debris strewn across the scene.
